Responsible for inventorymanagement of service parts required for projected or forecasted sales anddistribution.
Supervises and approves monthly and annual service parts forecastsfor coordination with production control.
Maintains inventory levels within established guidelines.
Maintains and controls warehouse inventory, investigates materialsshortages and mixed parts.
Supervises and coordinates physical inventories at prescribedperiods, adjusts errors in records avoids overstock and dead inventory.
Reviews and analyzes inventory reports and stock lists todetermine the need for improvement in inventory control.
Directsthe initiation of corrective action to restore inventory levels.
Participatein and/or lead cross functional teams to implement creative solutions.
Usingproject management skills, ensures process and system changes occur, trainingis implemented and follow-up evaluations are completed.
Responsible for supplyinginventory procedures and techniques to distribution centers to help in inventorycontrol.
Identifies training gaps and provides recommendations ondeveloping skills/training needs.
Develops and mentors departmental team members through delegation ofduties, coaching, and mentorship.
Counsels personnel on work-related questionsand problems.
Conducts annual employee evaluations.
Responsible for compliance of inventory planning at off-sitelocations and reconciling weekly through cycle count.
Motivates employees to improve their knowledge andperformance through study and educational participation.
Builds relationships and communicates with key stakeholdersto ensure the proper level of customer service.
Experience working with an internal ERP System
Using problem solving techniques and theapplication of sound judgment consistent with industry best practices
Leadership skills to develop relationshipswith internal and external customers
Manage time and multiple priorities to meetschedule guidelines
Bachelor's degree required.
LICENSEAND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Travel Requirements: 10 – 15%
