This person will coordinate, direct, and managedaily activities for the distribution of materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies within Kautex. Also functions as a strategic business partner with responsibility for maintaining all safety and environmental laws and regulations, quality processes and procedures, human resources development, and all other Kautex and Textron policies, procedures and compliance directives and adhere to all other laws applicable to the facility - in order to support the overall Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).

Responsibilities:

  • Coach direct reports to support and motivate assigned workforce to meet quality, safety, delivery objectives

  • Follows, implements and manages compliance of all applicable environmental and safety regulations and guidelines including interface with government agencies as required

  • Management of all outbound finished good shipments to meet customer demand and in bound components

  • Conduct investigation on freight on time pickup and delivery. Implement improvement countermeasures

  • Ensure all products meet customer packaging guideline requirements.

  • Define and Implement Standardized Work

  • Continuous Improvement participation

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • 5 years experience in a high volume manufacturing facility (automotive preferred)

  • Coaching and Mentoring in team based environment/ Facilitation of meetings

  • Customer knowledge/understanding of customer requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • FIFO/LIFO techniques

  • Inventory Management
