The Bell Business Development Manager - Infantry/Ground Operations is responsible for providing support that ensures the incorporation of critical customer input relating to ground forces operations and maneuverability and into the Bell Advanced Vertical Lift Program design. This position reports to the Global Military Business Development Director of Advanced Vertical Lift. This position is based at Bell’s Ft. Worth, TX headquarters facility.

Position Responsibilities:

-Work closely with Bell Military Business Development and Integrated Logistics Support organizations to ensure customer feedback for the maneuver community is incorporated into the objective design and contributes to the shaping of FVL capabilities. Serve as the program consultant on ergonomic requirements for ground maneuver units that would conduct air assault and weapons handling from/within the fuselage of the aircraft.

- Consult on all issues related to Human-Machine Interface (HMI) enhancements for soldiers and cabin area occupants, to include enroute planning and rehearsal, ingress/egress, and cabin multi-mission re-configurability.

- Participate with Bell Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to generate operational enhancements focused on our military customers, and optimize performance, efficiency and utility within different Advanced Vertical Lift aircraft cabin areas.

-Coordinate across the IPTs to ensure customer needs are appropriately considered throughout FVL and other ATS design, build, test, and flight programs.

- Provide input on ergonomics relating to interaction among soldiers inside the aircraft and other design elements that accommodate continuous situational awareness, operability and in-flight comfort for those that would be conducting air assaults and long-distance insertions/extractions. PEO-Soldier/PM background a plus.

-Assess IPT issues and recommend resolutions to meet end-user goals and objectives.

-Support verification and validation of human system interfaces, procedures, and operator training.

-Develop and execute an engagement strategy to promote the capabilities of tiltrotor aircraft focused on military ground maneuver units.

-Coordinate with key service ground maneuver (and where possible) special operations decision makers to aid in requirements shaping that takes into account assault support execution and passenger needs.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree is required.

Position Requirements:

At least 10 years of military service with ground maneuver.

At least 3 years’ experience with air assault operations – in any branch of service.

Results-oriented professional with strong strategic planning skills.

Able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Demonstrated ability to build and deliver Power Point presentations to senior leaders / executives.

Preferred Qualifications:

US military service as a Special Operations Forces field grade officer.

Training exercise war game design experience.
