This position will execute projects for Manufacturing Innovation’s Digital Integration team. Daily activities will include the development and integration of CATIA V6 CAM for use with new development programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Integrate CATIA V6 methods and systems around CAM

  • Build and manage the kinematic machine libraries

  • Build and deploy the cutting tool tables

  • Assist with developing and managing the part planning and NC manufacturing standards

  • Build training and management plans for Future Factory execution using CATIA V6

  • Tailor the CATIA V6 usage for part pre-planning in development

  • Develop and integrate CATIA V6 NC programming usage

  • Develop and manage the implementation of digital automation throughout the manufacturing engineering life-cycle


Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Manufacturing Technology.

Preferred certification or experience in NC programming.

Qualifications Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in manufacturing preferably in Manufacturing Engineering functions, requiring considerable experience in CAD/CAM system, processes & usage. Preferred 5-8 years.

  • Extensive understanding of CAD/CAM including data movement from model to machine and back to model

  • Comprehensive understanding of the processes and workflows that are associated with Part Planning and NC Programming.

  • Flexible and adaptable to business needs

  • Prevailing sense of urgency

  • Ability to be a strong team leader fostering a cohesive team, recognizing and adapting to the needs and pace of the business

  • Must have the ability to motivate and mentor others and be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and written. Must be able to direct multiple disciplines within Manufacturing Engineering and demonstrate exemplary attitude and conduct with respect to attendance, job assignments and support of all company efforts.

  • Software Skills


o Experience troubleshooting the post processing life cycle

o Experience with Vericut

  • Technical Integration and Relationship Skills

o Extensive experience with NC Programming life cycle

o Extensive experience with Part Planning life cycle

o Experience in successful collaboration and relationship building

o Experience as a focal point for troubleshooting CAD/CAM technical system problems
