A&P Mechanic (King Air Experience) (Various Shifts, Houston, TX)
To repair, maintain, overhaul and troubleshoot airframes, engine systems, parts and components. Performs 100 hour and progressive inspections as well as modification work on customer aircraft.
1.Performs a variety of mechanical duties on various aircraft models involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft for flight and delivery to customer.
a.Performs turbine engine troubleshooting, inspection, repair, and engine run-ups.
b.Conducts airframe system, component changes and systems checkout.
c.Performs installation and service bulletins and kits on airframes and engines.
d.Requires knowledge of 100 hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures set forth in FAR 43.
2.Uses equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and a variety of hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies.
3.Responsible only for own work.
4.Performs other related duties as required.
High school education
Use of arithmetic, blueprints, and specifications plus knowledge of jet an piston airframe and engine principals
Minimum of 2 years experience as A&P Mechanic in a customer service facility performing inspections and repair of aircraft
King Air experience preferred
Must be able to obtain and maintain an Airport Security Badge through the local airport authority (if applicable).
