RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enter customer sales order in company system to communicate to Production for manufacture of customer’s product

  • Assist in the prospect for new business by sending out letters of introduction and brochure specifications.

  • Maximize profits / Gross Margin.

  • Gather and communicate market information to Salesmen.

  • Monitor and maintain contracts for sales.

  • Understand market, customers and equipment.

  • Write customer purchase orders up in company system to communicate to Production for manufacture of customer product.

  • Coordinate Shipment of customer equipment between customer/company/transportation carrier.

  • Answer phone for Sales Dept. & coordinate handling of customer requests.

  • Maintain filing for Sales Dept. of customer correspondence and purchase order paperwork through the manufacturing process.

  • Write order confirmations to customers confirming specifications per company standards.

  • Assemble Quotes for equipment to customers for salesmen.

  • Track Orders from beginning to customer receipt and satisfaction (or otherwise) via Sales Dept. System.

  • Resolve discrepancies on customer invoices and Accounts Receivables past due and relay data to Salesmen.

  • Special reports & projects as needed-Scanning and filing

  • Rental and Demo coordination

  • Marketing Inventory

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School education

  • Good telephone / people skills – (outgoing, professional, polite, etc.)

  • Computer Skills – Microsoft office (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, JD Edwards)

  • Organization Skills

  • Technical Equipment Knowledge preferred

  • 2-3 years office experience

  • Customer interaction for 2 years preferred
