Regional Sales Manager
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing new sales opportunities, both through existing dealer network and direct accounts or by proactively developing new dealers and direct accounts. The Regional Sales Manager has overall responsibility for the achievement of set region sales objectives relevant to the GSE Business Unit.
Prospecting, establishment, and retention of customer base to support products relevant to GSE Business Unit.
Forecast of vehicle sales, relevant to the GSE Business Unit on a monthly basis
Complete territory sales report on a monthly basis
Attend regional shows and or exposition’s relevant to the GSE Business Unit upon approval
Ensure product knowledge and training skills are qualified to successfully promote the products.
Perform regional competitive analysis to support territory sales planning.
Provide competitive intelligence to GSE leadership on product trends, competitive programs and other market intelligence to support GSE team sales efforts.
Provide input to the management team on development of new product or service features that will meet current and future customer needs.
Develop and implements plans and strategies to cultivate new business opportunities.
Collaborate with internal departments in the development and implementation of strategies, plans, and business models.
Perform special projects as assigned by leadership
Perform all duties in accordance with the Textron Business Conduct Guidelines
Demonstrated sales experience, preferably in GSE markets.
Must have strong knowledge of financial activities (budgeting, forecasting, financial statement analysis)
Must have strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills
Must be capable of interfacing effectively with the other functional areas of the Company (i.e., Finance, Marketing, Manufacturing and Engineering)
Must have the ability to develop and execute effective sales programs
Must possess solid leadership ability and strong verbal and written skills
Must be a highly capable negotiator and be able to establish strong relationships with suppliers and customers
Experience in a GSE airline operations environment preferred
Microsoft Office skills required
Ability to multi-task and deal with tight timelines

- Bachelor’s degree preferred
