Under the authority of the Logistics and Material Manager, the Shipping/Receiving Clerk will be responsible for booking transport, unload and receive incoming materials. As well as packing, processing and loading shipments leaving our facilities.

RESPONSABILITIES;

  • Books and coordinates local and international transport for inbound or outbound shipments

  • Loading and unloading goods as necessary.

  • Verifies quantity and quality of goods received.

  • Prepares all required paperwork for the shipping of goods.

  • Process shipments in different digital systems.

  • Properly maintains the files related to shipments.

  • Provides status of shipments to internal stakeholders as required.

  • Traces missing or lost shipments.

  • Ensures that receiving/shipping area is always clean, organized and secure.

  • Wrap, Pack or palletize material as necessary.

  • Operates forklift and drives the company truck when required.

  • Handles hazardous materials.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS;

  • High School diploma

  • 3 to 5 years experience in similar positions

  • Drivers License

  • Forklift driver license

  • Bilingual in English and French (oral and written)

  • Good computer skills

  • Capacity to work without supervision

  • Training and experience on Dangerous Goods is an asset

  • Organized, methodical and honest

Qualifications
