Reporting to the Software Configuration Manager, the Software Support Specialist will work closely with the Software Configuration Specialists and the Engineering department to resolve aircraft model discrepancies in the software by providing engineering model updates and testing the solutions in an advanced testing environment. Your help in correcting discrepancies will have a substantial impact in the acceptance of the Flight Simulation training Devices, culminating in the acceptance of the simulator and improved realism of the user experience!

Debug and correct SW configuration discrepancies
Debug and correct aircraft specific simulation models based on OEM’s data
Support in the resolution of non-aircraft specific issues on systems like the Motion, Visual and Audio of the simulator
Simulation software integration and testing of new software functionalities
Development of innovative solutions for the overall simulator environment, including tools and continuous improvements
Debug HW (cockpit panels, sound, motion and flight controls system) discrepancies and provide guidance for resolution
Assist in maintaining simulator software updates schedule

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.)
Experience with C programming language
Ability to analyze system schematics
Knowledge of SW management/development tools (Vault, GitHub, MS Visual Studio, Eclipse)
Experience with LINUX / Windows OS
Available to travel up to 10% of the time
Experience with aircraft simulation is an asset
Fluent in English and knowledge of French
