2019 Summer Intern - Warehouse & Logistics (Johnson City,TN)

A Day in the Life of a Warehouse & Logistics Intern:

The Warehouse Logistics Intern is responsible for a variety of different projects and day to day tasks that occur within the department.

In this role, you will:

  • Generate metrics, analyze metric output and build stabilization reports.

  • Complete activities as needed to satisfy management directives.

  • Duties may vary depending upon placement within the organization.

The intern will work full-time during the 11 weeks of the internship.


Education Requirements:

  • Must be a current student enrolled in a university and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher at the time of the Summer Intern Program.

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Integrated Operations, Finance, or related field strongly preferred.

  • Must have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.

  • 3.0 minimum overall, undergraduate GPA.

Minimum Requirements for a Warehouse & Logistics Intern at Bell:

  • Must be able to fulfill the full length of the Summer Intern Program (May 28th– August 9th).

  • Excellent interpersonal skills that can be used when communicating with coworkers.

  • Recognize the importance of quality products and outstanding customer service, both direct and indirect.

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.

  • Ability to work effectively within a team.

Ideal Candidates Also Have:

  • Leadership, teamwork, project management, delegation, collaborative conceptual design process.

  • Willingness to learn, willing to work on anything required, self-motivated

  • Shows signs of passion beyond being a good student.
