* A Day in the Life of an Information Technology Co-Op*

As an Information Technology Co-Op for Bell, you’ll be a part of the Technology team at our office in Johnson City, TN. You’ll take part in a fast-paced internship which will consist of projects, activities and hands-on training to facilitate your learning. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with senior leaders and subject matter experts who will be mentoring and coaching you to success.

Responsibilities May Include :

During your time at Bell, you will be assigned to a specific Technology team where your responsibilities will be aligned within Identity Access and Management, Collaboration & Customer Experience, Custom Development (.NET), Packaged Applications, or ERP/SAP Support. You will:

  • Observe and discuss business operations, team-working environment, leadership and management styles.

  • Shadow team members and supervisor to gain detailed insight to department operations.

  • Formulate alternative courses of actions and solicit feedback for professional development.

  • Collaborate with team members, management, and cross-functionally with other departments depending on the scope of the assignment(s).

Qualifications

* Education Requirements* * :*

  • Must be a current student enrolled in a university and pursuing a degree at the time of the Summer Intern Program.

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business strongly preferred.

  • Must have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the co-op, or prior Bell work experience.

  • 3.0 minimum overall, undergraduate GPA strongly preferred.

* Minimum Requirements for an Information Technology Intern at Bell* * :*

  • Good communication skills, both oral and written are required.

  • Quickly grasps new concepts when faced with unfamiliar tasks.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Action oriented.

  • Must be able to fulfill the full length of the spring semester (January 2022 - May 2022)

  • Any work experience demonstrating responsibility, work ethic, customer experience.
