About This Role

The Admin Assistant will support the Geospatial organization at Textron Systems, Electronic Systems. The candidate will work with the team to assist in activities and provide daily administrative support. This position reports to the VP of Geospatial Systems and will have the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the management in coordinating daily activities, team communications, and assisting with program meetings and other program support efforts.

  • Utilize various systems and tools to support project activities such as project set ups, status updates and monitoring of program performance.

  • Maintains the Executive’s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, and teleconferences

  • Responsible for receptionist duties, which include greeting visitors at the entry, answering phones, issuing badges, working with security

  • Provide administrative support to the team including meeting management, calendar management, travel arrangements, expense report management, maintaining office equipment and supplies, mail distribution, maintaining kitchen supplies, etc.

  • Work with facilities for any building issues: electric, HVAC, plumbing, printer, coffee machines

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  • Required: High School graduate with four or more years of secretarial or administrative support experience.

  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge and experience using Microsoft office and Concur expense/travel reporting software.

  • Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize a variety of assignments

  • Demonstrate professional demeanor, possess interpersonal qualities needed for effective collaboration.

  • Applicant must be a self-starter, someone who has energy and desire to engage beyond the traditional administrative support role.

  • Candidates with experience in an engineering organization are preferred

Must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
