2019 Intern - Process Technology

We are a seeking a Process Technology intern to join our team in our team in several US facilities. The candidate will gain intricate exposure to the introduction of new product launches. Furthermore, the candidate will work with various technical teams to understand the handover points during planning through to launch phase of the product life cycle.
Primary Locations are Troy, MI and Lavonia, GA
Support the process setup and the optimization of blow molding / injection molding, post-cooling, welding and any other process step during samplings of injection & blow molded products
Learn techniques for defining appropriate sampling objectives, schedules and process flow charts
Maintain and enhance documentation of process parameter and sampling results (e.g. process book)
Support the preparation and participate in tooling and equipment sign-offs, a kick-off meeting and in after action reviews per sampling
Learn proactive, gain process knowledge, participate in trainings
Currently pursuing University Degree in Industrial Engineering
Preference for candidates who possess comprehensive knowledge about Robotics and Automation.
Knowledge inpneumatic, hydraulic and electric systems
Lean tools, 6S, A3, PDCA, TPM
Professional competencies required: Structures Workflow, Ethics / Values, Self Development, Willingness to learn, Drive for Results, Communication Skills, and Planning
