Sales Manager, UK – TRU Simulation Training

Description

* JOB SUMMARY:*

The Sales Manager will be responsible for the sale of flight simulators and related products for both fixed-wing and rotorcraft aircraft platforms. A solid understanding of the simulator industry, pilot training, and aviation regulations is preferred.

* JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:*

  1. Lead Generation, opportunity management and closing deals

  2. Responsible for attainment of a yearly sales target, taking the lead on numerous deals

  3. Make outbound sales calls, generate emails, make sales presentations, and perform follow-ups as necessary

  4. Management of a long and often complex sales cycle is critical to being successful in this position

  5. While not directly responsible for marketing, must have a solid understanding of all related facets to include brand management, sales promotion, pricing and product strategies, social media, online/print media, and direct response advertising

  6. Attend sales meetings and aviation conferences/conventions

  7. Maintain and improve product knowledge by participating in training programs, outside seminars, reading product literature and publications

Qualifications

* EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:*

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation Management, or related discipline

  • Minimum 5 years sales and/or marketing experience required

* QUALIFICATIONS:*

  • Salesforce and the Microsoft suite.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages preferred but not required)

  • Candidate must be able to work in an autonomous self-directed environment to achieve the marketing strategies and sales control systems set forth by the company.

  • Candidate must be willing to travel at least 50% of the time in all associated markets.

  • Pilot license preferred
