Analyst Configuration



Reviews released engineering change data and changes documenting activities to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies.Assist in the management of the Deficiency Report (DR) process from initial notification to final submission.Manage the annual audit process to ensure compliance with TA Defense policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities will be the administration of data rights agreements, processing of proprietary data requests, and import / export shipment submittals to AES filing / EXIM team.


  1. Utilize terminologies, analytical tools and applications associated with configuration management functions.

  2. Review data for compliance with ITAR, Department of State regulations, and Department of Commerce regulations.

  3. Manage annual audit process for TA Defense and ensure adherence to company policies and directives.

  4. Protect company Intellectual Property by ensuring company data / information is marked appropriately before distribution outside the company.

  5. Facilitate activities between USG, engineering, vendors, Contractor Operated and Maintained Base Supply (COMBS) contractor and COMBS vendors regarding DR exhibit disposition, shipping and root cause investigation.

  6. Facilitate on-time DR submittals per USG suspense dates.

  7. Receive, log and distribute incoming DR Procurement Contracting Officer Letters (PCOL).

  8. Ensure DR submittals comply with company and customer requirements.

  9. Update US Government websites (JDRS & PEGNET) with deficiency report submittals.

  10. Create and track deficiency report metrics internally and externally.

  11. Collaborate with Legal, Contracts, Engineering, Program Excellence, Supply Chain, Logistics, Program Management, EXIM / Trade Compliance, and Finance groups.



  • Bachelor’s degree required in

  • Business Administration

  • Mathematics

  • Finance

  • Minimum 2 years of relative engineering or configuration experience required.


  • Experience in a defense environment preferred.

  • Expert attention to detail required.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)

  • Familiar with Adobe and SharePoint.

  • Experience in Visio preferred.

  • Knowledge of ISO standards preferred.

  • Possess excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to perform multi task within the specified time and solve arising problems instantly.
