Project Management Liaison- Scheduling



The project management liaison will develop and maintain project schedules for existing projects and future customer proposals, as well as assist program managers and project engineers in various project scheduling activities. The project management liaison will also be responsible for contract deliverables associated with program or project schedules.


  1. Develop, Maintain and Status Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule (IMP/IMS).

  2. Identify and manage project dependencies, timelines, milestones and critical path using Microsoft Project Professional. Perform Critical Path Analysis and Monte Carlo Analysis.

  3. Identify issues and conflicts within the project team with contingency planning.

  4. Estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals, integrate vendor and internal capacity. Mange project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

  5. Effectively communicate project deadlines with stakeholders and leaders in a timely manner and ongoing basis.

  6. Develop & deliver progress reports, proposals, and deliverables.

  7. Help prepare update summary presentations for leadership and/or customers

  8. Develop best practices and tools for efficient project execution and management.

  9. Communicate effectively and on a regular basis with internal and external customers



  • Bachelors degree required in:

  • Business Administration

  • Management

  • Mathematics

  • Finance

  • Relative experience in a project planning and scheduling capacity, including all aspects of process development; experience with resource/capacity planning proficiency and modelingis preferred


  • Expert in the application and understanding of Microsoft Project Professional software. Familiarization with application of Project Server software.

  • Able to develop and maintain multiple schedules at any given time. The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is critical.

  • Competent and proficient in business process mapping, problem solving and root cause identification skills.

  • Strong business and financial acumen to assess customer needs while balancing business needs including revenue, costs and strategic plan.

  • Excellent time management, interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills. Able to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
